Membership is on a calendar year basis. Registration for year n+1 is available from December of year n. Renewals are possible from December of year n till the end of January of year n+1. For renewals, please access your renewal form from the member's utilities after having logged in.

Individuals, regular or student, affiliated to an institutional member enjoy a reduction of about 40%. Individuals from countries of lesser economic development benefit from reduced fees, according to the country in which they live and work. Country classification is based mainly on the United Nations' "Human Development Index" with additions from the World Bank's classification. Please check your country’s classification here.

Student members are required to provide a proof of studentship for the current year (e.g., copy of student card, University affiliation certificate). Institutional members are required to provide a letter from the institution to endorse its representative. Members affiliated to an Institutional member should provide a certificate of affiliation to the Institutional member. Such a documentation should be sent (either in a message to treasurer(at)iaoa.org, or by fax to +39 0461314875 at the time of application and is required to complete the approval process.
